3D

I was designated to digitally sculpt a look-alike of "Gamin" from world-renown artist Augusta Savage. The sculpt can be seen in the art section of the link provided. The digital sculpting program used was Sculptris. Designing the sculpt, I had to take into account the loading time of the 3D viewer with the amount of detail I could have on the sculpt.

This sculpt was done as a presentation walk-through for a club event. The presentation lasted two days where I projected step-by-step in sculpting and painting the head.

An assignment given to me, where I had to create a character using references, rig the model, and finally animated the character.

The sculpt took 1 day to complete. The sculpt was to depict manga character "Golgo 13." The blueish-white lighting on the face was a custom material i created in order to get as close as possible to my reference.

Rendered in Maya's Mental Ray, I had built it from scratch using only references. The model's articulation is based off Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 miniatures. It was intended to be 3D printed, thus,i modeled the figure to have all it's limbs removed for the printing process.

The sculpt took 2 days to finish. 1 day to sculpt the model and 1 day to paint it. It has less than 200,000 triangles, this is due to the program's limits.

This head sculpt was to replicate Guts from the manga/anime "Berserk". The process took 3 days to fully complete. I used custom brushes for the hair, eyebrows, and skin. The model was transferred to Maya to be animated, however to due the translation from triangles to polygons, I had to completely re sculpt the model in Maya using the original sculpt as reference.

This assignment was given to us in order to understand how Maya's modelling tools worked. The model took less than 3 days to complete.

This assignment was for me to sculpt a human head plane by plane in Maya. Afterwards we would have to texture, rig and animate the head to follow a piece of dialogue from a movie we choose. The process took around 3 weeks to complete, the animation was done using blend-shapes, and was around 45 seconds long.

This was a small project i did in where i wanted to build and animate a non-humanoid model. The model has a very simple rig and is based of "Warhammer 40k's Servo Skull" design
